YODA provides young adults with the opportunity to address their court charge (or life issue) through an educational program resulting in a dismissal of charges.* These include:
Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and/or Paraphernalia
Underage Drinking
Larceny/Shoplifting
Disorderly Conduct
Injury to Property
Inappropriate Communication (verbal or cyber/electronic)
Others, as directed by the District Attorneys Office
When appropriate, minimum attendance of 1 AA/NA Meeting.
Service Learning Project (related to issue or life choices).
Fee for program is $100 effective all new referrals as of 10-1-2022. This is payable directly to us by PayPal or cash delivered to our office during business hours: 1316 Davie Avenue, Statesville, NC (call first 704-873-7624)
Independent completion, with the documents mailed/brought to us before next court date.
*First time offenders only unless approved by the District Attorneys Office
